Our spouses have been working together in the education industry for over a decade, and our daughters are pretty much best friends, so we figured we might as well work together, too. And we will say, we’re a pretty great team - our goals and missions align, we work off each other well, we love to travel and have epic adventures around the world (and in our backyard of Asheville, NC), and we love building a business that helps people enjoy their lives, too! Cuz you have one little life to live; may we all enjoy it to the fullest!
Butch Allen: Chief Executive Officer & Founder
I was the kid who had my own business from age 5. (You should ask me about some of my more creative ones!) Less concerned with cash than creation, I have spent my career implementing solutions that customers didn’t even know they needed. When I bought a condo in St. Augustine for my family to enjoy, I wanted others to luxuriate in it too! This naturally turned into starting my own short term rental management business, where I could help both owners maximize their investments and guests to bask in relaxation during their vacation.
Heidi Zellie: Chief Operating Officer & Guest Experience Coordinator
I kinda like to do it all; I was a high school environmental science teacher & curriculum writer for over a decade, have been teaching yoga since 2004, worked in the ecological nonprofit world & continue to coordinate everything from foster youth camps & fundraisers to luxurious, outdoor weddings, all while raising 2 daughters and traveling the globe (and all but 3 US states). At the heart of my work is a desire to streamline all processes, creating a sense of balance and presence with deeply enjoying the moment: we all want more freedom to play, so creating efficient processes with the guest’s needs in mind is paramount.
